چکیده

By using the invariant method we find one-parameter squeezed Gaussian states for both time-independent and time-dependent oscillators. The squeezing parameter is expressed in terms of energy expectation value for timeindependent case and represents the degree of mixing positive and negative frequency solutions for time-dependent case. A minimum uncertainty proposal is advanced to select uniquely vacuum states at each moment of time. We show that the Gaussian states with minimum uncertainty coincide with the true vacuum state for time-independent oscillator and the Bunch-Davies vacuum for a massive scalar field in a de Sitter spacetime. One-Parameter Squeezed Gaussian States of Time-Dependent Harmonic Oscillator

We show that the nonlinear auxiliary equation for the invariant introduced by Lewis and Riesenfeld for a time-dependent harmonic oscillator is satisfied by the amplitude of a complex soltuion to the classical equation of motion. One-parameter squeezed Gaussian states are found whose parameter denotes the mixing of positive and negative frequency solutions. The minimization of the energy expecta...

Evolution of Gaussian Wave Packet and Nonadiabatic Geomet- rical Phase for the time-dependent Singular Oscillator

The geometrical phase of a time-dependent singular oscillator is obtained in the framework of Gaussian wave packet. It is shown by a simple geometrical approach that the geometrical phase is connected to the classical nonadiabatic Hannay angle of the generalized Harmonic oscillator. Explicitly time-dependent problems present special difficulties in classical and quantum mechanics. However, they...

New relations for two-dimensional Hermite polynomials

The effective formulas reducing the two-dimensional Hermite polynomials to the classical (one-dimensional) orthogonal polynomials are given. New one-parameter generating functions for these polynomials are derived. Asymptotical formulas for large values of indices are found. The applications to the squeezed one-mode states and to the time-dependent quantum harmonic oscillator are considered.

How the Nonextensivity Parameter Affects Energy Fluctuations

In this article, the effect of the nonextensivity parameter on the energy fluctuations of nonextensive systems is studied in two different versions of the Tsallis statistical mechanics. Once a general expression has been reported for the energy fluctuations in the second version (Tsallis work in 1988), the energy fluctuations of an ideal gas and a harmonic oscillator are studied in the second a...

To Quantum Optics

The theory of quantum propagator and time–dependent integrals of motion in quantum optics is reviewed as well as the properties of Wigner function, Q– function, and coherent state representation. Propagators and wave functions of a free particle, harmonic oscillator, and the oscillator with varying frequency are studied using time–dependent linear in position and momentum integrals of motion. S...
